Bhopal’s Shoaib Akhtar 18-year-old cricketer, who is a left-arm spinner and delivers quick breaks, showcased a spectacular performance during a club match on Monday. Shoaib accomplished a record haul of 10 wickets in 34.5 overs of an innings for Mayank Chaturvedi academy against Jyotiraditya academy. During his bowling spell, Shoaib delivered 11 maiden overs and gave away 56 runs.
According to experts, Unlike Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar, Bhopal’s Akhtar has shined on at least one front, as he claimed all ten wickets. Shoaib’s father, Mansoor Ansari is a tile setter in the city, who migrated from Uttar Pradesh about two decades ago. Mansoor Ansari want’s his son to play for ‘India’, a report claimed.
Recently, during CK Nayadu trophy left-arm spinner Sidak Singh also achieved the 10-wicket haul while playing for Puducherry against Manipur. Former Indian Captain Anil Kumble and England’s former Cricketer Jim Laker achieved the 10-wicket haul for their national teams respectively.
