Big Brother Season 26 Grand Prize: The twenty-sixth season of the American reality television series Big Brother, which is an adaption of the wildly popular franchise founded in 1999 by John de Mol, is scheduled to premiere on CBS tonight, July 17.
The show will return to its classic structure this year, with an artificial intelligence theme, and a cast of housemates who live together under constant surveillance as they try to avoid the weekly eviction vote. The 90-day event this year is scheduled to end on October 13.

Every move made in the Big Brother home is captured by 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, which are set up to record everything 24 hours a day. One houseguest will be voted out every week, and the final one will win the $750,000 grand prize.

The 16 new houseguests who will move in and, for the first time, can vote in a 17th houseguest have been confirmed by CBS.
To kick off the new season, the 26th edition of the show will premiere on CBS with two episodes on Wednesday, July 17 and the next night (9:00–10:00 PM, ET). Both shows will be streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.
The series will air Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (9:00–10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) after the two-night premiere. Julie Chen Moonves will host the weekly live eviction program.
