Popular TV actress Rashami Desai is known for her role in Uttaran. The actress, however, made her TV debut with a cameo role in an Assamese family drama Kanyadaan. The Gujarati actress made her television debut with Raavan, where she played the role of Mandodari.
She played the role of Tapasya Rathore in Uttaran from 2009-2014. The show established Rashami as an actress on TV. Post which, she has been part of shows like Savdhaan India, Haunted Nights, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari and more.
Apart from TV shows, the actress has also done shows like Comedy ka Maha Muqabala, Kahani Comedy Circus Ki and Comedy Nights with Kapil.
She has been part of reality shows like Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 5, Nach Baliye 7 and Kitchen Champion 5. Rashami has been in Bigg Boss house a couple of times. She first appeared as a special guest in Bigg Boss season 6.

Rashami married his Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu in February 2012. In 2014, they separated and in 2015, the couple filed for divorce after almost four years of marriage.
The actress is presently rumored to be dating actor Arhaan Khan.
