Bihar Board 2023: The Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) has released the schedule and regulations for administering the half-term exams for Classes 1 through 8 in government and government-aided institutions.

Social Science (Classes 3 to 8) and Science (Classes 6 to 8) examinations will be held in the morning and evening shifts on September 20; Hindi (Classes 3 to 8) and Sanskrit (Classes 6 to 8) examinations will be held in the morning and evening shifts on September 22.

Teachers will administer Hindi or Urdu exams for Classes 1 through 5 in the morning shift and Classes 6 through 8 in the evening shift on September 23. Teachers will administer examinations in English and mathematics on September 25 and 26, respectively. On September 24, teachers will evaluate each student’s extracurricular activities.

The schools heads have also been directed that the half-yearly evaluation of Class 1 students will be on the basis of oral tests.

The council had ordered the formation of a committee at the district level, to be led by the district Education officer, for the compilation of question paper-cumulative answer books. By September 15, these question papers-cum-answer booklets must be made available by the district or block office at the complex resource centre.

On September 16, the institutions will receive the question booklets. The council has also instructed the relevant authorities to establish a control room in each district between September 18 and September 26 in order to successfully administer the midterm exam.
