Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) would accept online scrutiny applications of the Bihar Board 12th exam between May 8 and May 25 this year. BSEB had announced the class 12th results on March 24 amid lockdown because of which the scrutiny process had been put on hold.
BSEB used to begin the application process for scrutiny immediately after the announcement of the result every year. But, due to the coronavirus lockdown, the board had to postpone this process.
Therefore, the board has decided to accept online applications for scrutiny of papers from May 8.
On Wednesday, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said, “Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them in one or more subjects can apply for scrutiny online by visiting the official website of Bihar Board at www.biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.”
Candidates should pay a sum of Rs 70 for every paper. The application fee has to be paid through online mode.
Steps to apply for online scrutiny:
- Go to the official website at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
- Now, click on “Apply for scrutiny (Annual Intermediate Examination 2020)’
- Enter the roll code, roll number and registration number o register yourself
- Now, the applicants will get an application ID after registration
- Use the application ID and registration number, as mentioned in the hall ticket, to login
- Then, a new page will be opened with subject- list
- Click on the tick- mark beside the subjects you wish to apply
- After selecting the subjects, click on fee payment option as per your choice
- The application fee can be paid online mode only through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
At the same time, the board has also started the evaluation process of answer sheets for class 10th exams from May 6 i.e., today. As per the officials, only 25% of the answer copies are left hence, it will take a week’s time to complete the evaluation.
