In a disturbing incident of Meelik Tola of Sakraili panchayat in Bihar’s Katihar district, an elderly man was mercilessly beaten by his son and the visuals of the same has gone viral. As per sources, the man was allegedly beaten because he had sold one kattha of his land for his own treatment which infuriated his son.

Father (Baldev Mandal) was first dragged by his son (Pankaj Kumar Mandal) and then was beaten up by lathi. The elderly man was seen crying for help but the people were mere spectators of the crime. This incident created no panic among the villagers. Later, a woman took the lathi from the accused.
