There are times, manier times when you go on a random Spotify playlist, only to listen a song from your most hated artist. The playlist that was so perfect till now, is to be heard no more.
To battle the blues of disliked music and to make the life of music lovers, a touch easy, actually a lot easy, the music streaming giant Spotify reportedly has introduced a new feature. Now you can easily block that artist you don’t like, you can even unblock him in case he decides to play your choice of good music.
In the android version of the application tested by us an option to block an artist can be seen. After one visits any Artist page, on clicking the three dots the option gets visible, among the two choices that have already been present such as “Like” and “Share”.
One can simply click the “Don’t play this” to mute the artist for as long as one wants to, sometimes need to, yes this bad some artist’s music get.
After choosing the option, “Ok, we won’t this again”, message appears. (I don’t know how my last song is a heartbreak one by John Mayer, ignore that!)
Now when you click the three dots again, you will see rather “Allow to play this” option, choose this and the artist will be unblocked again.
