Bihar: Fish party organised amidst the lockdown in Jehanabad, FIR registered against minister’ PA and SDPO

Jehanabad: A fish-rice party was organised in between the lockdown in which a large number of the gathering was registered. The party took place on the night of Wednesday on April 15 at Sugaon in Makhdumpur block of the Jehanabad district in Bihar.

It was reportedly said that there was a participation of high profile people too as it includes Education Minsiter Krishna Nandan Verma’s staff Griha Swami Pintu Yadav, SDPO Prabhat Bhushan Srivastava, Makhdumpur BDO Anil Mistry, CO Rajeev Ranjan, social activist SK Sunil, Santosh, Birendra Singh, Praveen Sharma. An FIR has been registered against these people under various sections of the case that comes under the case number 129/2020. The Disaster Act, 188, 269, 270,271 IPC sections have been imposed.

Makhdumpur Police Station incharge Dhananjay Kumar said that an FIR has been registered. The party was organised to celebrate the completion of one and a half month of the house warming party. The grand entrance house was made on 6 March. A grand ceremony was also held at that time.

The investigation was conducted under the leadership of ASP Pankaj Kumar. After investigation, an FIR has been registered in this case.
