Satya Pal Malik on Wednesday took oath as the Governor of Bihar in Patna. A former MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s national vice president, Malik took the charge of the post that had been vacant since Ram Nath Kovind was nominated as the BJP’s presidential candidate.
Malik has already expressed his wish that he wants to see Bihar as a “developed state”.
After his appointment, he said that he will fulfill the constitutional and ethical responsibility on him with complete honesty and will do his work with complete diligence.
Talking about his work agenda, he had earlier said that he will follow the norms set by former Bihar Governor and President Kovind.
