Patna: The in charge of Rajgir Railway Station in the Nalanda district of Bihar has started a unique tradition for the safe journey of the passengers of the train in which the morning train leaves after Havan Pooja is conducted. After the Pooja, the train leaves for the journey of Rajgir to Danapur, Shramjeevi Express and Fatuha-Rajgir.

The tradition of the auspicious pooja was started on Feb 19 for the safe journey of the passenger and to keep the environment of the station pure and clean. Only after the pooja is conducted, the train is departed from the station.

On Sunday, the general manager of Nalanda ordinance BP Mishra also graced the Havan Pooja and also appreciated the tradition started by the railway in charge.

He said that “The tradition started by the in charge of the railway station expresses his emotion of safety of the passenger and cleanliness of the railway station. The smoke of the Havan will destroy the toxicity present in the atmosphere and will provide a positive emotion to the mind.”

In charge of the station, Mantosh Kumar Mishra said that from Feb 19 every day the Morning Prayer takes place and only after that the trains are allowed to depart for its respective journey. In the prayer session, apart from the railway workers some passengers and nearby people are also present and they pray together for the safe journey of the passenger.
