Patna AC Pink E-Bus Service For Women: Raksha Bandhan has come with a new travel option for women in Bihar. Patna has started getting AC e-Pink buses that are meant only for women. The new buses are battery-powered and have a low-floor design. They are planned to make daily travel safer and more comfortable while also helping reduce pollution.
The new buses will connect Patna with important areas in and around the city. The service is being introduced under the Prime Minister E-Bus Service Scheme. Bihar is planned to get 400 AC electric buses under the scheme. Out of these, 50 will be Pink buses meant specially for women.

Five AC E-Pink Buses Start Service in Patna
The rollout of electric buses in Bihar has already started. Five AC e-Pink buses are now running on different routes from Patna to nearby areas.
According to the State Road Transport Corporation, two of these buses are running between Patna and Paliganj. Another two buses are operating on Bailey Road. The fifth bus is running between Patna and Bihta.
These buses are designed to make travel easier for women, especially during hot weather. Since the buses have air-conditioning, passengers can have a more comfortable journey during the summer months.
Bihar To Get 400 AC Electric Buses
Bihar is set to receive a total of 400 AC electric buses under the Prime Minister E-Bus Service Scheme. The plan includes 50 Pink buses that will be operated only for women.
The Road Construction Corporation has also confirmed the larger plan for the state. The electric buses will help improve public transport while reducing the use of conventional fuel-powered vehicles.

The introduction of the Pink buses is also part of efforts to provide women with a dedicated public transport option. The services are expected to make regular travel more convenient for women travelling between Patna and nearby towns.
