As election is approaching near, the Bihar politics may acknowledge a new stunt which may stun the opposition camp, in particular, the RJD.
After efforts to gain legislators from Upendra Khushwaha’s RLSP, Nitish Kumar may upset rival RJD as he is eying RJD MLA from Barhara (Bhojpur) Saroj Yadav. The RJD legislator met the Chief Minister yesterday evening at his residence.
There is speculation on Saroj Yadav’s discomfort in the party for which he may switch side. But Speaking about the meeting, Saroj Yadav claimed it to be a formal meet.
He said, “There are works in my constituency pending which includes road construction, a proposal to re-start the Peepa Bridge and to provide relief to families of martyrs.”
JDU has linked this meeting to the popularity of Nitish Kumar, as legislators of different parties keep in regular touch with him on issues of development whereas the RJD has tried to normalize the political atmosphere.
RJD leader Vijay Prakash tried to defend, Saroj Yadav’s move by terming it as a meeting based on necessary concerns of his constituency. This meeting should not be hyped, he further added.
