Meenakshi Lekhi was trolled by twitterati on Saturday after her comments over Rahul Gandhi joining the candle march led by Tejashwi Yadav at Jantar-Mantar in protest to the highlighted rape case of Muzaffarpur shelter home. Adding further disgrace to the BJP and NDA Meenakshi Lekhi said, “Jaaton ke gaon mein jo sabse zyada daaru peeta hai, aur jo sabse zyaada kumzor hota hai vo hi sarpanch ko challenge karta hai, yeh vaisi hi stithi hai”.

This comment was received with huge troll on Twitter as the Jaat community took offence to it. According to them she had called them a community of drunkards and stupid people.

So far no woman leader from BJP has come forward to comment on the heinous comment on the heinous crime. Even the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar took three days to break his silence over the issue. Initially, he was not even willing to hand over the case to the CBI. Later after the opposition’s demand and pressure he had to let the investigation taken over by CBI.
