Bill Clinton in Epstein Files: New fresh photos released from the Epstein files have again pushed former US President Bill Clinton into public discussion. The images appeared when the US Department of Justice began publishing a new set of Epstein-related documents on Friday night around 9pm GMT. These files were uploaded to an official page called the “Epstein Library.”
One photo shows Bill Clinton inside a swimming pool with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is a convicted child sex offender. Another person is also in the pool, but that person’s identity is hidden behind a black rectangle. A second photo shows Bill Clinton standing with Jeffrey Epstein. There is no claim or proof of wrongdoing by Bill Clinton in these images.

Clinton knew Epstein socially after leaving the White House. He also took trips on Epstein’s private jet. Flight records suggest around 26–27 flights between 2002 and 2003.
But Clinton’s office has said these were only four trips and were connected to Clinton Foundation work. Clinton has always said he did not know about Epstein’s crimes. He has said he stopped all contact around 2005 never visited Epstein’s private island and “knows nothing about the terrible crimes” Epstein committed.
Former Aide Says White House is Protecting Itself
The release of the photos has raised questions about timing and intent. Peter Baker, Chief White House Correspondent for The New York Times, posted on X: “Trump, trying to divert attention from his Epstein ties, orders Justice Department and FBI to investigate Democrats who were close to the billionaire sex offender…”

Soon after that the Angel Ureña, who served as Bill Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, issued a strong public statement. Writing on X, he said: “The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton. This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever. So they can release as many grainy, 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.”
Ureña also referred to comments made by current White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. She told Vanity Fair that there was “no evidence” Clinton made many trips to Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, in the US Virgin Islands.

No Evidence of Wrongdoing Found
Ureña went further and clearly defended the former president. He said: “Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton. There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light. The second group continued relationships with him after.”
He added “We’re in the first. No amount of stalling by people in the second group will change that. Everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats.”
Till now the unsealed court papers and newly released files mention Bill Clinton many times as someone Epstein knew. However, they do not accuse him of any crime. Media outlets and legal sources have also confirmed there is no credible evidence linking Clinton to Epstein’s sex trafficking activities.
Public interest in the Epstein Library was very high. Many users had to wait in a queue to access the site. Some even saw an error message saying, “your queue number has been rejected,” with an option to “get a new place in line.”
The Epstein Library also carried a privacy notice which said: “In view of the Congressional deadline, all reasonable efforts have been made to review and redact personal information pertaining to victims, other private individuals, and protect sensitive materials from disclosure.”
