BJP leader Vijay Goel issued challan for violating Odd-Even Scheme

Delhi BJP leader Vijay Goel who left his house in an odd-numbered car to protest against Delhi government’ OddEven scheme was issued a challan for violating the same.

While today, November 4 is an even number day, the politician left his house in an odd-numbered car. he had said, ‘This scheme is just a gimmick, they(Delhi Govt) themselves say pollution is due to stubble burning,then how does this scheme help? I am ready to pay the fine for violation.’

This is the third Odd-Even car rationing scheme aimed to provide relief from pollution kicked-off on Monday. The scheme will remain in force till November 15 and the rules for this will be applicable in Delhi from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Violation of the scheme will attract a penalty of Rs 4,000, which is double the amount charged in the earlier editions of the scheme.
