BJP releases election manifesto for Delhi Assembly Polls 2020

BJP's campaign for elections has centered on national issues such as the Citizenship Amendment Act, the violence over it, and the abrogation of Article 370.

BJP releases election manifesto for Delhi Assembly Polls 2020

Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday afternoon released its election manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls. Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javadekar, Harsh Vardhan and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari were present on the occasion.

The party’s campaign for elections has centered on national issues such as the Citizenship Amendment Act, the violence over it, and the abrogation of Article 370. Its manifesto includes subjects of better connnectivity, women safety, housing, transgender, sports facilities, illegal colonies.

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said that a new Colony Development Board will be set up to look after the development workds of new colonies. Party promised to find a permanent solution for the sealing problem that has caused severe problem to businesses. Tiwari said that the BJP will also take care of the people staying on rent.

Tiwari also announced that the saffron party, if it forms the government, will provide flour to people for Rs 2/kg. He also said that clean water supply from taps to every household.

Voting will be held in Delhi on February 8, with results due to be announced three days later on February 11. The main contest in Delhi is between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP and the Congress.
