As the terrible screenshots of the group chat of Delhi teen boys, who objectified and morphed the picture of underage girls went viral on social media. We all got intrigued to know about who is the one who helped the victims to expose the screenshots. Here we are to tell you about the boy who came forward to help the young girls in exposing the screenshots.

The 21-year-old boy named Haris Khan was reportedly amongst the one who got to know about the deeply problematic chats in the Bois Locker Room group. He then helped connect many of the girls targeted in the group with each other.

Haris said that Last Friday evening, he received a message from his close friend, who told him about her pictures that have been shared on Instagram chat group called ‘Bois Locker Room‘.

Thus the boys helped her get the screenshots from the chat group, as one of the boys was randomly added in the group as an unknown user. Thus he took all the screenshots but didn’t know what to do with them.

My friend had also shared these screenshots with some of her girlfriends and they were contemplating creating a confessions page on Instagram with the screenshots. They wanted to get the boys to confess and apologise. However, I thought the issue was quite serious and the boys shouldn’t be let off the hook so easily.

I decided to track down as many girls who were mentioned in the group. I also asked my friend Niska Nagpal if she knew any of the girls in the screenshots. By Saturday, we had contacted eight girls, out of whom five were minors, between the age of 15 and 16, while three were above 18, and in different Delhi colleges. The girls were not connected to one another, they didn’t even know each other.

Later, more girls were added to this discussion, some of whom weren’t victims of the locker room group. I also cautioned the girls about revealing all the participants of the chat group because most of them were minors and many probably didn’t even know they are added to the group. On Instagram, if you are added to a group by an unknown person, it goes in your message requests and it is up to you to accept or delete the request. But the girls said that being on the group was as bad as being active on it. I didn’t push further on this as I didn’t want them to think that I was trying to protect the boys.

Finally, on Sunday, the girls decided to expose the boys and posted the screenshots of the chats. The stories of some of the girls who were popular on Instagram, like Niska, went viral. On Monday, the girls also filed a police complaint with the cyber cell anonymously.
