In another addition to the politics of abuse in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections 2019, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate for Fatehpur Sikri was caught on camera abusing his political opponent, Congress leader Raj Babbar.
Guddu Pandit’s speech in which he can be heard threatening to thrash Raj Babbar and his supporters went viral on social media.
“Sunn lo Raj Babbar ke kutton, tumko aur tumare neta nachaniya ko dauda dauda ke jooton se maarunga jo jhoott faelaya samaaj mein. Jahan milega, Ganga maa ki saugandh tujhe jooton se maarunga, tujhe aur tere dalaalon ko (Listen Raj Babbar’s dogs, I will thrash you and your leaders with shoes if lies are spread in the society. Wherever I find you, I swear on Ganga I will beat you and your middlemen with shoes,” Pandit was head saying his supporters on Monday.
Pandit has been booked multiple times in the past for violating the model code of conduct in the run-up to the 2019 General Elections.
Raj Babbar while interacting with the media said, “Unke mata-pita ne unko nasihat di hogi,wo un tak nahi pahuchi to Raj Babbar ki kya aukat ki unko kahe? (His father and mother must have adviced him, it didn’t reach to him, how would Raj Babbar have the capability to say him).”
The statement has gone viral on the social media and the Congress has asked the EC to take cognizance of the statement. Meanwhile, Guddu Pandit seems unrepentant about his behaviour. When a group of journalists met him on Tuesday morning, he repeated his statement against Raj Babbar.
