BACKGROUND
Casey Frey was born in the United States on June 23, 1993. He spent his entire upbringing in Mendocino County, which holds a special place in his heart and career because he began his career as a content creator there. Frey has stated that he began making videos to entertain his family and loved ones in this location, along with his brother and sometimes other acquaintances.
Shortly thereafter, he discovered and began using the social media platform Vine, where he began uploading content, primarily amateur videos of himself performing. With the 2017 closure of the video platform, one might assume Frey’s career was over, but he continued doing what he relished most. This is how one of his many skits got viral in 2019. The video stood out for its exceptional sense of humour, as well as its talent and originality. In the video, three Freys can be seen portraying various characters while a song plays in the background. The video became a standard in the world of video platforms, with repercussions reaching as far as TikTok, where it has inspired others to create videos. After this initial triumph, his fame exploded almost naturally. The composer of the song featured in Frey’s viral video took full advantage of the attention generated by the ex-Vine star by inviting him to appear in the music video for one of his new songs. This was only the beginning of Frey’s rise to prominence.
This charismatic dancer participated in additional music video initiatives with artists such as Tisto, but the small screen was not his only objective. He also appeared in a film directed by Gia Coppola and is now entirely devoted to developing new projects for film and television. He is even at the genesis of artistic and media creation to launch a stand-up comedy career.
