CAT Result 2021 update: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is expected to release the CAT exam result on January 04, 2022 at iimcat.ac.in, according to reports.
Last year, the CAT 2020 result was announced after 34 days of the exam date, on January 2. The CAT 2019 result was announced after 41 days, on January 4, 2020.
CAT 2021 result date is likely to be January 3. Check out the table below to understand the expected CAT exam result date calculation.

Candidates should note that CAT result would be subjected to normalization process. A total of 1, 91, 660 candidates appeared for the Common Admission Test, which was conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad on November 28 at 156 cities in India.

The CAT 2021 score is valid only till December 31, 2022.
The CAT score card will have section-wise scaled scores, total score, and percentile scores.

- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the CAT Result 2021 option (link not yet active)
- Step 3: Enter the Login credentials
- Step 4: Download result and take a print out further reference.
Note: Candidates should start preparation for further selection rounds such as for GD, WAT, and PI rounds. They should keep in mind that candidates need to shortlist B-schools and apply accordingly on the basis of their scores. However, most of the management institutes announce their admission process after the declaration of CAT exam result.
CAT Result 2021: How to calculate percentile?
The formula to calculate candidates CAT sectional and overall percentile is the same and method is mentioned below.
P= (R/ N) x 100
Where P= Percentile score, R= Candidates rank on the basis of CAT scaled score or total number of candidates who rank below and N= Number of candidates who appeared in CAT 2020 (including morning, forenoon and evening) session.

After the declaration of the CAT exam result, applicants will be called for the further admission process. Applicants who scored equal to more than the cutoff score will be called for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds through email.
