CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022 [Term 1] begins tomorrow; check important instructions here

While the Minor exams will be held from tomorrow, the Major exams will be held from December 1, 2021, in offline mode.

CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022 [Term 1] update: The Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to begin CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022 [Term 1] from tomorrow, November 16, 2021.

While the Minor exams will be held from tomorrow, the Major exams will be held from December 1, 2021, in offline mode.

Meanwhile, students can now check the exam instructions from here and on cbse.gov.in.

CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022 [Term 1]: Check important instructions below

Students must reach the examination centre at least 1 hour prior to scheduled time

CBSE 12th Admit Card is compulsory at the exam centre.

Maintaining COVID-  19 protocol, students must wear masks, carry sanitisers and ensure physical distancing to avoid any possible transmission of infection.

While all exams will begin at 11:30 am, students would get 20 minutes of reading time in every paper, instead of the previous 15 minutes.

Students should note that CBSE has announced that it will conduct special board exams for classes 10 and 12 students who will not be able to appear for the test due to international or national sports events and international olympiads that are likely to coincide with one another.

Here is what CBSE notification says:

“To promote the spirit of sports in the country and for facilitating the participation of students in international Olympiads, CBSE had decided that in case of the students appearing in the Board’s Examination are participating in National/International sports events recognized by Sports Authority of India and International Olympiads, the examinations for such students will be conducted at a later stage by CBSE.”
