The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE class 10, and 12 board exam results on its official website.

Students can check their results online at cbse.nic.in. Students have to key in their roll number and school number centre number and admit card ID.

Earlier on June 26, CBSE informed the Supreme Court that the results for the pending examinations will be prepared on the basis of student’s performance in the previous examinations and internal assessments. The board also said that the students of Class 12th will be given an option to appear in pending exams to improve scores after conditions are conducive.

This year, nearly 30 lakh CBSE Class 10 and 12th candidates are anxiously waiting for the much-awaited CBSE Board Result 2020.

The official CBSE result websites have removed the results of the previous years. All the candidates should keep an eye on the official websites of CBSE, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in .

This year the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) won’t declare the merit list. “Coming up with a merit list makes no sense as the results are being calculated on the basis of an evaluation method due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic”, a senior board official had stated.

Key Points:

  • For students who have appeared in the examinations in more than 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
  • For the students of both classes 10 and 12, who have completed all their examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance in the examinations.

Last year, the CBSE 10th results were announced on May 6 in the afternoon and the CBSE 12th Result 2019 was declared on May 2. Both the CBSE 10th and 12th results 2019 were released in a press conference.
