The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, postponed the board exams of class 12 scheduled on Thursday, February 27 in view of the violence in North East Delhi.
The new date for the exam is not yet out by the CBSE Board. The class 12th CBSE Board exam has been postponed that was slated to be held tomorrow in 80 centres in north east Delhi.
In a statement issued by the CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi on Wednesday said, “Considering the request of Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents, the Board has decided to postpone the following subject exams scheduled for 27.02.2020 in North East Part of Delhi.”
For class 12th, the exams that has been postponed are English Elective (001), English Elective C (101) and English core (301).

Earlier, the CBSE has postponed the class 10 English Communicative (101) and English Language & Literature (184) exam.
According to the press note released earlier “Based on the request of the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents, the Board has decided to postpone the following subject exam scheduled for 26.02.2020 in North East Part of Delhi.”
