The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close the online registration window for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED 2023) and the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED 2023) on March 31. (UCEED 2023). Candidates interested in pursuing M.Des/PhD at IIT Bombay should apply for CEED at ceed.iitb.ac.in, while those interested in B.Des should apply for UCEED at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Both entrance exam admit cards will be available on January 13, 2023.
Candidates must pay the registration fee while filling out the CEED/UCEED application form. Female/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates must pay Rs 1800 in application fees, while all other candidates must pay Rs 3600. The application deadline is November 4, 2022, with a late fee of Rs. 500. On January 22, 2023, IIT Bombay will hold the CEED and UCEED exams.
Candidates must meet the CEED and UCEED eligibility requirements. Candidates for UCEED registration must have passed the HSC exam/ 10+2 in 2022. Those born in 2023 are also eligible to apply. Candidates with a degree and those in their final year of study are eligible to apply for CEED registration in 2023.

How to Apply for CEED/UCEED 2023
- Step 1: Go to the official websites of UCEED and CEED at uceed.iitb.ac.in and ceed.iitb.ac.in, respectively.
- Step 2: Navigate to the registration portal by clicking on the link.
- Step 3: Register by providing a valid email address.
- Step 4: Fill out the form with the necessary information and upload any necessary documents.
- Step 5: Make the fee payment.
- Step 6: Go over the form and submit it. Step 7: Print a copy of the completed CEED application for future reference.
CEED and UCEED are national level design entrance exams administered by IIT Bombay for admission to IIT Bombay and other participating institutes’ graduate and postgraduate design programmes. Candidates must pass the UCEED exam to be admitted to B.Des programmes, and candidates who pass the CEED exam will be eligible for admission to M.Des/PhD programmes.
