CGBSE CG Board 10th, 12th Result 2020: The Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will announce the class 10th and class 12th results on June 23, today on its official website. The CGBSE results will be declared by the state education minister via video conferencing at 11 AM.
Earlier, the Chhattisgarh board exams for class 10th were scheduled to be conducted from March 3 till March 26 while for class 12th, it was slated from March 2 to March 31. Due to the surging cases of COVID-19 in the country, the government cancelled the pending examinations and notified that the students will be rewarded grades based on their internal assessment.
The previous year, the board directed that from 2020 onward a limited number of answer sheets will be provided to students appearing for the board exams.
According to the notification issued related to this matter in December last year, the board mentioned that a 32-page long answer booklet would be provided to candidates appearing for the class 10 exams, while a 42-page booklet will be given to class 12 students.
Explaining the move, the board said that this will help students practice on how to limit the length of their answers.

Around 6.29 lakh students appeared in class 10, 12 exams this year, out of which, 3.84 lakh candidates wrote class 10 exams, while 2.66 lakh appeared for the plus-two exams.
Once the Chhattisgarh board results released, the students can access the results through the websites- cgbse.nic.in, results.gov.in/ cgresults, results.cg.nic.in.
The evaluation process of answer sheets was finished by May 25.
How to check CGBSE 10th, 12th results
- Step 1: Go to the official website, cgbse.nic.in
- Step 2: Click on the link for the high school/higher secondary class 10/12 results 2020.
- Step 3: Follow the links provided for the results.
- Step 4: Enter your details in the fields provided and click on “submit”.
- Step 5: Download your result and take a print out of the same for further reference.
At the same time, the state government decided to hold exams for the final year college students while the remaining students will be promoted based on internal assessment.
Due to the extension of lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the board cancelled the remaining exams, the students will be awarded marks on the basis of internal assessment in the remaining subjects. The board earlier announced that the remaining papers will be held from May 4 to 8.
