Chained Soldier Season 2 Premiere Date: The production team has officially confirmed that Season 2 of the anime will premiere on January 8, 2025. The announcement came through the show’s official X account, which also revealed new cast members and changes in the staff for the upcoming season.

The new season of Chained Soldier will stream on HIDIVE for North American viewers. In Asia the first season was available on Disney+ Hotstar and Muse and it is expected that the second season will also release on these same platforms.

Muse Communication holds the license for South and Southeast Asia, making it the likely distributor for the new episodes. More information about the season will be shared on November 7, and the anime will also appear at Jump Festa on December 20–21 with more updates and previews.

New Cast and Theme Song
Several new voice actors are joining the show for its second season. Kana Ichinose will voice Konomi Tatara, Fairouz Ai will play Mira Kamiunten, Manaka Iwami will be the voice of Bell Tsukiyono, and Fuka Izumi will voice Yakumo Ezo. Meanwhile, Kana Hanazawa, who plays Ren Yamashiro, will sing the new ending theme song titled “Cipher Cipher.”
The upcoming season will be produced by Studio Passione, which is taking over from Seven Arcs. Passione has previously worked on popular anime such as Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, Citrus, and Mieruko-chan. Hayabusa Film will join the production team, a studio known for Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf and Loner Life in Another World.
Masafumi Tamura will take over directing duties from Junji Nishimura. The new creative team also includes Shino Ohara as the art director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi in charge of series composition, and Keiya Nakano handling character designs.

Story and Background
Chained Soldier is based on the manga by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura, which has been serialized on Shonen Jump+ since 2019. The English version is published by Yen Press. The first season aired in January 2024 and ran for 12 episodes, featuring Akari Kito as Kyouka Uzen and Yuuya Hirose as Yuuki Wakura.
The story follows Yuuki who is a young man who is pulled into a strange world where only women gain powers by consuming special peaches. In this world, he becomes the “slave” of the strong warrior Kyouka Uzen, fighting alongside her in dangerous missions. After each battle, Yuuki receives “personal rewards” from Kyouka as part of their unique partnership.
