Central Industrial Security forces have invited applicants for the online registration for the recruitment of sportsmen and women in CISF against sports quota. The candidates can apply online till December 17, 2019, while interested candidates from North East region can apply till December 24, 2019, till 5 pm.
Under sports quota, there are around 300 vacancies, and the female candidates can also apply for the posts. The selected candidates will be paid a salary between Rs 25,500 to 81,100 per month.

Age limit
The candidate age must be from 18 to 23 years as on August 1, 2019. The reserved category candidates (SC/ ST) will get an age relaxation of 5 years, while other backward class (OBC) category candidates will get 3 years as mentioned in the official notice.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must acquire their class 12 passing certificate from a recognized University and the candidates need to represent the state or country in sports and athletics.
Selection process
The selection process will be done on the basis of the trial tests. Qualified candidates of the trial test will be put through the proficiency test which is of 40 marks.
After a medical exam and document verification process, the final selection will be done for the candidates.
Candidates will send their applications to the authority mentioned against each at Column no 2 along with the requisite amount of application fees of Rs 100. However, female applicants along with the reserved category candidates are exempted from application fees.

- Matriculation certificate in support of age
- All Certificates in support of educational qualifications
- Caste Certificate viz SC, ST OBC or EWS
- Certificate in support of belonging to hill/tribesmen/woman, if seeking relaxation in height and chest as per Appendix-”F”
- Sports certificates related to the event/discipline
- Two recent passport size photographs
