CMAT answer key 2024: It is expected that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2024) shortly.
The NTA will use a normalization method for exams held in multiple shifts to calculate the percentile of candidates. The CMAT answer key 2024 can be accessed on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT.
For admission to AICTE-approved institutions, universities, departments and colleges, the NTA conducts the CMAT 2024.
On May 15, a computer-based test (CBT) was administered in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
In addition to the CMAT answer key, the NTA will also upload the question paper and response sheet.
CMAT results for 2024 will be released based on the final answer key and the objections raised by candidates. Students will have to pay Rs 200 per question challenged.
Tie-breaking rule for CMAT
According to the score obtained by the students in the exam, a CMAT merit list or All India Rank (AIR) will be issued.
Whenever two or more candidates obtain the same marks, the NTA will follow the following tie-breaking rule.
- The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of the last graduation examination.
- The overall pass percentage for Class 12.
- Aged
Those with the same score will have the same merit, and the merit number will be increased by the same number, e.g. if there are two candidates at merit 2, merit 3 is not awarded to the next candidate, but merit 4 is.
