Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday said that he would file a case of defamation against the TV channel who allegedly ran a fake video in which Sidhu was purportedly seen raising slogans in favour of Pakistan.
The video was taken while he was rallying in the Alwar district of Rajasthan.
Mr Sidhu told the reporters, “I am going to file a defamation case after consulting with my lawyer. I cannot compromise with the name I have earned”.
According to the leader, at the rally, he had asked questions related to demonetisation and minimum support price but all of them went unanswered.
