Congress leader’s India’s Indira to release tomorrow

The Congress party as a part of its centenary celebrations of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s birth anniversary has been carrying out various activities across the country. Congress leader Anand Sharma’s literary work, ‘India’s Indira’ will be released by the Honourable Vice President Md. Hamid Ansari in Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Teen Murti in New Delhi on Saturday,13th May, 2017.
Published by Academic Foundation, the event’s invite says, “the book tells the legacy of the first lady Prime Minister of the country through its rich collection of articles, pictures and documents. It portrays her graceful persona of a visionary leader, her struggle, her life, and her commitment”.
His Excellency the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherji has given his consent to accept the first copy of the book after its release.
The rank and file of the Congress party is all geared up for the book release as it will be followed by an address by the Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The official Indian National Congress handle on Twitter has been tweeting teasers of the event on a regular basis. On the day, the Congress social media cell has planned to create maximum buzz with rare images and videos of Indira Gandhi.
