Himanta Biswa Sarma, convener of the North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) has achieved the task of “Congress Mukt Northeast” he was entrusted with. Congress loses its last bastion in the North-East as according to the Mizoram Assembly Elections 2018, the rule is going to go back to the Mizo National Front.
