While the tussle for power continues in Maharashtra, the Congress party seemed to decided to go forward with their support for the Sena.
According media reports, most Congress MLAs are of the opinion that the party should extend the support to Shiv Sena to keep BJP out of power.
Earlier today, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had said that the party is ready to form government if no one else is.
The development comes a day after Maharashtra governor invited BJP, as the single largest party to “indicate the willingness and ability” to form government.
Raut further said, “Congress is not the enemy of the State. All parties have differences on some issues.”
