The difficulty is being faced by the Poultry industry as the fake Whatsapp message was circulated that said the Coronavirus is being spread by eggs and chicken.
The message started doing rounds on Whatsapp and the prices of eggs and chicken fell by 90 percent in a few days. In such a situation, income for the millions of farmers involved had a very bad effect. Every month it has become difficult for farmers with an income of 25-35 thousand rupees to run the house.

At the same time, the price of a dozen i.e. 12 eggs fell from Rs 48 to Rs 24, while the demand for mutton has increased significantly. This is causing a loss of Rs 160 crore per day.
The people associated with the poultry business are suffering huge losses all over Maharashtra. People have stopped eating chicken. he condition reached such a point that in Buldhana, Maharashtra, poultry businessmen took to the streets demanding to recover their losses. There was agitation leaving chicken at the main gate of the Collector office. Police have detained all agitators.
