As the migrants are getting back to their homes on Special Shramik Trains, the number of coronavirus positive cases in the state has seen a rise too. The state confirms new coronavirus positive cases. The total number of COVID-19 cases surge to 767, 365 patients have been recovered and 6 patients have died so far. 336 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
37 out of 38 districts of Bihar are infected by COVID-19. 26 in Madhubani, 115 in Munger,75 in Patna, 59 in Rohtas, 56 in Baxar, 50 in Nalanda, 35 in Begusarai, 33 in Siwan, 32 in Kaimur, 26 in Madhubani, 25 in Bhagalpur, 20 in Bhojpur, 20 in Gopalganj, 15 in Aurangabad, 14 in Darbhanga, 14 in North Champaran and 11 in West Champaran, 16 in Khagadia, 11 in Nawada, Katihar and Arwal respectively,10 in Saharsha, 9 in Kishanganj, Muzaffarpur and Madhepura respectively, 8 in Saran, Banka, Gaya and Samastipur respectively, 7 in Shekhpura and Sitamarhi respectively, 5 in Jahanabad, 4 in Lakhisarai, Araria and Vaishali respectively, 3 in Shivhar, Purniya, and Supaul respectively. These districts are affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to the orders issued by the union government on April 30, Bihar had five red zones including Patna, Rohtas, Munger, Gaya, and Buxar while 20 districts had been put in orange zones and rest 13 in green zones. But now there are likely more districts would be classified in red zones while resting in orange zones in the state.

During lockdown phase 3, 23 police personnel have been tested coronavirus positive including an IPS officer's bodyguard. 13 BMP-14 personnel in Patna, 5 police personnel in Kaimur, 1 in Madhubani, 2 in Araria and 2 personnel in Patna Rail District have been infected by COVID-19.
Baxar district of Bihar is coronavirus free now. The last patient battling COVID-19 has been recovered and discharged from the hospital on Monday.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said, "Bihar is not recieving enough number of COVID-19 testing kits. Therefore, I request you to stand together to face any type of crisis. COVID-19 testing kits will be made available within 7 days".
In the video conferencing meeting held by PM Modi with the Chief Ministers of all states on Monday, Nitish Kumar demands PM Narendra Modi to increase the number of trains. 96 trains were run that brought 14,000 migrant workers to Bihar till Sunday.
