21:11 PM: Uttar Pradesh’s Directorate of Health Services has said a total of 13 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state – eight are from Agra, two from Ghaziabad, one from Noida and two from Lucknow, reports ANI.
20:48 PM: Telangana Health Minister’s Office: As of now, two COVID19 positive persons are admitted to the state-run hospital and the first COVID19 positive person was discharged two days ago after he was completely cured.
20:30 PM: A trainee Indian Forest Service officer has tested positive, Uttarakhand Additional Health Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant says. The person had travelled to Spain in the recent past, ANI reports.

The Health Ministry has now confirmed that a seventh individual has tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Karnataka’s Gulbarga district. Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja on Sunday confirmed that two more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the state.

The Lucknow district administration in the state capital of Uttar Pradesh has issued an order, directing all coaching centres in the city to remain closed till March 22.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing leaders of SAARC member nations proposed the creation of a Covid-19 Emergency Fund. “This could be based on voluntary contributions from all of us. India can start with an initial offer of 10 million US dollars for this fund,” Prime Minister Modi said.

Leaders of eight SAARC nations will speak to each other through video conference on Sunday for a joint strategy to fight the coronavirus outbreak that has killed over 5,000 people worldwide.
