Coronavirus in MP: After visiting barber in Khargone district, 6 people found coronavirus infected

In Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, 6 people got infected by COVID-19 by a barber.

In Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, 6 people got infected by COVID-19 by a barber. According to Mukesh Nigam, Naib Tehsildar, a young man from Indore came to the village in the past and he went to a barber for shaving. The sample of this young man had already gone for investigation. Later, the report was positive.

In fact, in Bargaon under Khargone,  barber cut and shaved many people with the same infected cloth.

Around 26 people came in contact with the barber. On April 5, their samples were taken and sent for investigation out of which 17 people tested positive for the coronavirus. On Thursday night, 6 more people among the remaining were found positive.

Dr Deepak Verma, BMO said, “The report of remaining three people is yet to come. Whereas positive patients are shifted to the district hospital at night. They are treated here”.

According to BMO, survey team is sent to the village. 34 family members are of the infected are in quaratine. On the other hand, the panchayat is sanitizing the village. The village is sealed. Policemen are patrolling the area.
