The deadly coronavirus has taken the death toll to three in India as the total number of infected patients reach 125.
A 64-year-old man, who was tested positive in Maharashtra, breathed his last at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai. The man had returned from Dubai.
For those unaware, Maharashtra has so far recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country with a total of 39 cases.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had yesterday said that the government has not yet taken a decision on ordering a complete lockdown in the entire state despite the fact that the number of coronavirus cases is increasing day by day.

During a meeting with Health Minister Rajesh Tope and other officials through video conferencing, the Maharashtra CM acknowledged that the government did not work much on the preventive measures against coronavirus in the first two weeks.
For the uninitiated, the number of coronavirus cases in India rose to 125 on Tuesday, even as the Government put the country in a near-total lockdown with states shutting down schools and colleges and banning gatherings.
The number of deaths around the world linked to the new coronavirus topped 7,000 after Italy announced a new surge in fatalities. A total of 7,007 people have died, with 175,536 infections recorded globally. China has the highest number of fatalities at 3,213, followed by Italy with 2,158 deaths and almost 28,000 cases.
