Coronavirus: Telangana government plans to set more quarantine centres in state

The government official said that the 50-bed isolation ward at Gachibowli stadium will provide quarantine support to the people getting admitted to hospitals with suspected coronavirus symptoms.

Hyderabad: Amid the outbreak of Coronavirus in India and its increasing number has to lead the Telangana government to plan to set up more quarantine centres in the state.

The government is all set to set up a 200 bed isolation ward at the Telangana State Institute of Rural Development in Rajendranagar.

The sanitation and cleaning work has already begun in the Institution since Wednesday evening and the works have been taken up by Ixota Corporate Services Private Limited. It is to be known that a number of around 100 workers have been deployed for the sanitation works using machines, steam, spraying disinfectant and others.

The government is also planning to provide quarantine support to at least 22000 international passengers in the state with COVID19 symptoms says, Minister for Heath, Eatala Rajender.

The Telangana government has also initiated work to set up a quarantine centre at Gachibowli stadium. The cleaning and sanitation works have been handed over to Circle 11 of Serilingampally of GHMC. The government official said that the 50-bed isolation ward at Gachibowli stadium will provide quarantine support to the people getting admitted to hospitals with suspected coronavirus symptoms.
