Delhi High Court has postponed the Delhi Higher Judicial Services Main exam 2019. The exam main exams were slated to be conducted on March 14 and March 15, 2020, earlier. Yet there is no official announcement of the new dates, once it is out, it will be available on the website.
The notice released on the Delhi High Court official websites reads that the decision has been taken in order to prevent and control the outbreak of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) which is a pandemic disease.
Viva-voce was also to be held for candidates who qualified in the prelim exam along with the main exam.
The viva-voce was set to begin on March 23, 2020, and the admit cards for the interview process were to be out on March 14, however, due to all this, the result declaration has also been postponed. New dates will be announced soon.
The result for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Prelim exam was out on February 2, 2020, and 280 candidates were selected for the main exam.
Due to Coronavirus pandemic, there has been shutting down of educational institutes and delaying of many academic and entrance exams.
Haryana state has announced the coronavirus to be an epidemic, while the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister refrained from doing so but nevertheless has instructed all educational institutes to remain shut till March 22.
