Gaya crime news: A shocking and cruel case has come out from Itwa village in Bihar’s Gaya district. A woman named Lalo Devi was brutally attacked by her own father-in-law just because the food was not served on time.

The man got so angry that he used a sharp weapon and damaged both her eyes. Not only that, he also cut her nose. People around the village were left stunned after this heartless act.

Lalo Devi, who is 35 years old, lives in the village with her husband Ravindra Chaudhary. Her husband is disabled and works as a farmer. On the night of the attack, the father-in-law lost his temper because of the food delay and harmed Lalo Devi in the worst way possible. After doing this, the man ran away from the house and is still missing, ETV Bharat reports.

Condition Still Serious

After the attack, Lalo Devi was first taken to the Banke Bazar Health Centre. The doctor there, Dr. Awadhesh, said, “The family members brought over a woman on Thursday night with deep wounds on her eyes. It looked like both eyes were ruptured. Also, her nose was cut. The woman was seriously injured and referred to ANMMCH for better treatment.”

Later on, the family shifted her from Gaya to Ranchi for more advanced treatment as her condition was still very critical. According to local people, the police station is just one and a half kilometers away from the village. But still, the family didn’t inform the police, neither by speaking nor in writing.
