Taiwan has experienced more than three hundred aftershocks since the initial 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the island nation on Wednesday, further complicating rescue operations and causing additional damage. Nearly 700 individuals remain missing or confined. Approximately 1,070 individuals have been reported injured thus far as a result of the earthquake.
