The film, which was directed by Sameer Vidwans, had an impressive opening day gross of Rs 10 crore. On its seventeenth day of release, however, the film’s earnings decreased to Rs 2 crore, bringing its total earnings to Rs 75.71 crore.
On Saturday, the film’s aggregate occupancy rate in Hindi-language screenings remained at 22.40 percent. ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ represents Kartik and Kiara’s second collaboration after starring in the blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ last year, for those unaware. On July 11, Kartik took to Instagram to convey his gratitude to fans for the film’s initial success. In the caption, he revealed that the film’s worldwide gross was Rs 100 crore.
