Delhi Chief Minister Arvid Kejriwal on Tuesday announced the various initiatives his cabinet has taken in wake of water crisis.
In a bid to make city self sufficient in meeting it’s water demands, Kejriwal announced that Delhi cabinet has decided to make rain water harvesting mandatory for all its government buildings. He further said that HoDs will be directed to install systems in buildings which don’t have it and existing systems to be cleaned and kept ready before Monsoon rains.
Moreover, natural water storage in River Yamuna Floodplains to be tested this Monsoon.
