Delhi: Man refused to say sorry to dog, stabbed to death

Delhi: In a shocking incident, a truck driver identified as Vijender was stabbed to death by three men as the deceased refused to apologise to their dog who was barking at him.

The incident took place in the Mohan Garden area of Uttam Nagar in southwest Delhi, on Saturday September 6.

According to a report of Times of India, the police was informed that three men – Ankit, Paras and Dev had gone out for a stroll with Tommy, a black Labrador, around midnight. When Vijender drove in about 10 minutes later Tommy was sitting on one side of the street while the three men were talking beside a scooter on the other. When Tommy started barking at Vijender’s truck, the trio forced him to stop and abused him.

They grabbed him by the hair and demanded he apologise to Tommy. Outraged, Vijender told them to mind their dog instead. As he freed himself and hurried home, Ankit and Paras dragged him back to where the fight had started and stabbed him six times with kitchen knives and a screwdriver.

Hearing Vijender’s cries, his elder brother Rajesh ran to help, however, he too was stabbed three times by the accused, and is now fighting for his life in Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital.
