Bollywood’s one of most-popular on-screen couples took the saat pheras at Lake Como in November this year, and the fans are still recovering from their dreamy wedding. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy on November 14 and 15 away from the prying eyes of media and fans.
After having dated each other for six years, Ranveer and Deepika took their relationship to the next level. While Ranveer recently revealed that he knew Deepika was the one within six months of dating the beauty, the actress took her own time to get ready for the wedding.
The 32-year-old actress in her first interview post her grand wedding opened up on life with Ranveer.
Talking about Ranveer, she told the magazine, “I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be.”
The Piku actress also opened up on how things are going to change a little post the marriage.
“I’ve been running a home since I was 18, so I don’t think much is going to change in that sense. But of course, we’ll go through all the changes that happen when two people start living together.”
However, she revealed that she never wanted to be in a live-in relationship to figure out if she wanted to marry some one or not. “I was clear right from the start that I didn’t want to have a live-in relationship to figure out if I wanted to marry someone or not. Now [I’m expecting] everything that comes with being a newly-wed: sharing space, you know, or the bills, whatever it takes for two people to live a life together,” added Deepika.
On the work front, Ranveer has begun Simmba promotions with Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty. Deepika, on the other hand, will start to work on Meghna Gulzar’s next on acid attack victims.
