Delhi metro commuters now may take a breath of relief as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday announced that it has finally joined Twitter.
Launching the Twitter handle @OfficialDMRC, Managing Director Mangu Singh said, “DMRC is now on Twitter. Let us keep in touch. Your feedback will help us serve you better.”

With this official Twitter account, DMRC aims to interact with and address all complaints and suggestions of commuters.
In another development, DMRC’s proposal to add extra coaches to trains got approved. The Metro agency will buy 334 coaches keeping in mind the commuter traffic in certain sections. “The cabinet cleared this so that trains are not overcrowded,” said deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
Yesterday, the Delhi cabinet had even approved the proposal of construction of all six corridors of Phase – IV.
