Coronavirus scare has caused a lot of havoc throughout the country. With the Centre making strong decisions in very less time, the casualties in COVID-19 haven’t halted as of yet. Over 370 people have been tested positive in COVID-19, and a total of 5 confirmed deaths have been registered. The sixth is a suspected one from Bihar.
Amidst such hue and cry due to COVID-19, the Union Urban Affairs Ministry has also taken up steps to stop Metro Services till March 31.
In wake of COVID-19, as per a PTI tweet, DMRC in Delhi will also be suspending metro services till March 31 in wake of COVID-19.

India has reported over 350 positive cases of coronavirus so far. The cases have seen a dramatic spike in the past two weeks. The proposed shutdown of public sites and services has been done to avoid any community transmission of the coronavirus disease and avoid cases from escalating any further.
