Thane: Thane district’s 26-year-old man from Dombivali had to flee the hospital in which he was kept for quarantine purposes for supposed exposure to the novel coronavirus, police said on Sunday.

He fleed the facility at around 8:30 pm on Saturday and efforts were on to nab him, a Vishnu Nagar police station official said.

To talk about his worst experience at a quarantine centre, “He had called up his friends saying the hospital did not have facilities etc. He even reiterated that he has had his patience he would either run away or commit suicide,” he added.
