Education Minister Goes Live: Union HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be conducting a Live Webinar today at 12 PM on twitter and interact with students across the country. Ramesh Pokhriyal will be answering questions about JEE Main 2020 exam dates, NEET Exam dates, time provisions for pending CBSE Board Exams, and so on.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal said that JEE Main 2020 exam will be held on 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23 July. The JEE Advanced 2020 exam would be conducted in the month of August. NEET 2020 Exam would be conducted on July 26.

Pokhriyal also said that all remaining CBSE examinations will be conducted once the situation is normal and that fresh dates for it would be announced in the next one or two days.

The students can log on to their respective Twitter and Facebook handles and open the HRD Minister’s Twitter or MHRD Facebook page to join the webinar.

HRD Minister on Pending University Exams

Another query of a student was concerning the pending exams for degree courses for college and university students. Answering this query, HRD Minister said that to facilities conduct of examinations amid the uncertain situation due to COVID-19 lockdown, UGC has released detailed guidelines for colleges and universities. According to these guidelines, exams for final year students are scheduled to be held in July with new academic session beginning from 1st August 2020. For intermediate semesters, the result would be based on 50% weightage to prior exams and 50% weighage to current exams.

NTA to Announce JEE Main, NEET Exam Dates 2020: The National Testing Agency is likely to declare the Examination dates for the JEE  Main and NEET 2020 exams on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. According to media reports, the HRD Ministry is expected to announce the fresh exam dates for the JEE Main 2020 and the NEET UG 2020 examinations on May 5. Read more here.

NEET Admit Card 2020 Expected Soon

NTA has completed the application process and also allowed corrections or changes in the applications for NEET 2020 exam by the students. This means that now, HRD Minister will announce NEET 2020 dates which will be for the admit card release and the examination date. As NEET 2020 admit cards are to be released prior to the exam, candidates can expect the NEET 2020 hall tickets to be out soon and exam might be scheduled to commence after 17th May 2020, when the national lockdown ends.
