When Will You Get Your EITC Refund?

If you qualify for the EITC and claim it on your tax return, you will get your refund after you file your taxes. But there is a condition, the IRS says, “By law, we must wait until mid-February to issue refunds to taxpayers claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit.” This means you might have to wait a little longer to get your money.
